Windows XP or Windows Vista? -

Which one would do you use or prefer and Why?
Windows XP is older, but is considered easier to use and not too taxing on PC resources. While Vista on the other hand is newer, eats up a lot of memory, looks nicer, and has plenty more features.

XP for me,it is easier to deal with ,however the GUI in the vista is just amazing,but i feel that the XP is more reliable for some reason,by the way i use both XP on my pc and I've got vista on the laptop,also i can switch the pc from windows XP to redhat linux,so as you can see i'm using 3 different OS at the same time

well if I have to take one of the Microsoft products I take XP every day of the week, just because its easier and less hardware demanding... and it works. the fact that microsoft keeps making the license-time for XP longer and longer proves in my mind that Vista sucks. and in terms of looking nice I say take a look at mac´s OSX or linux.

well....i have xp media center edition which is perfect imo.
i actually bought my comp just before vista came out so i get a free upgrade to vista...but iv heard so much about vista sucking that i neva used the disc. iv just got it stored somewhere in case i wanna upgrade later.
and in terms of looks.....lol i use DesktopX so my desktop (imo ofc) pwns xp, vista AND macs lol ^ ^
so ye....xp for me ^ ^

but the problem with the vista is not all the programs (specially the old ones)are compatible with it,i mean i couldn't even download the demon tools on it
