Firefox or IE?

Which one do you use? And why?

If you've used both, which one did you think was the most useful?

For me, IE for downloading. Firefox for everything else.

firefox,cause it comes with its own download manager,spell check ,and much faster on my pc than the IE,so what not to like???once i used it ,i forgot all about the IE,i still have it on the pc but it is never used

Haha yes, so true. But you know, there are still more Internet Explorer users out there than Firefox users. The main reason for this is that IE is packaged along with Windows.

Firefox FTW I hate IE though I tried using safari for a week or two but then turned back to firefox.
BTW has anyone here ever tried opera?

i know that,but the number of firefox are increasing dramatically,the only problem with the fire fox is that it is easy to be hacked ,other wise it will soon wipe IE from the internet, i only have opera on my mobile,but i didn't use it that much,i'm a fire fox fan all the way

I'm thinking Firefox is superior in all ways to IE.

The security add-ons are the best. I basically stopped using IE and looked for an alternative when some random script in some site put a virus on the computer. -.-

After that, I went into a short phase of paranoia and found Firefox, and instantly had to put as many security add-ons as I can. -.-

(Though, this was on an older version of IE, and probably already fixed in the latest one)

Still... I'd prefer FF. ^_^

I have both but im mainly on internet explorer, some websites dont work so well with firefox also a pain when im trying to do html that looks good in both ff and ie

I use firefox because I like all add-ons and it runs faster on my computer for some reason. I have IE on the computer because when I download updates from windows-update I some times need to validate and thats easier in IE... in firefox I have to install some recognition-software, in IE I just download the update and press the validation button. and of course firefox comes as standard set-up in linux-ubuntu.

I used to have Fire Fox but I don't know what happen that one day I was in you tube watching bleach and the vid was in blank and it never downlaoded and I use internet explorer to see if is just you tube but it was FF the problem >..> so I got rid of if and now I use IE and is way faster than FF ...............really I mean it is way faster and better ^-^
