virus

just wondering has any one besides me managed to get a virus in the electrical wiring of there house / living space? or even heard of it happening?

I have but only in house's that have voice activation for electronics or a touch screen.. but in the electrical wiring... never heard of..

im refering o a basic ( standard ) house no special things in it other then EX: TV, Computer , VCR, DVD player .... and so on

ive managed to get a virus in my home wiring lmfao either that or i need an exercise for Merlin ( the name of my computer in 1996 (no parts exist from that computer any more ) that i blew up with thirmight )

dude how to do get viruses in other things except the computer???? This is the first time i have heard of something like this...

ya ive always thought of it as being imposable and lol my house as just hunted but recently i have learn't of some technology that has been around for some time now i cant remember what its called but it pretty much turns your home wiring in to a home network and it will send the information though the power cords only thing is you need a special filter that would filter out the data from the random gibberish

also you figure if ive already done this with out the filter it might as well be possible that its hidden in a DVD / VHS player or TV meaning they have around 30+ Mb in them to help with the data processing of videos and what not

lol problem is how do you isolate it and get rid of it jsut like your fuse panel can also be used as a computers cerket board because thats all it is but a lot bigger with less fuses

a virus is a program, so it can't infect ur wiring :P and sending data through a powercable is far fetched, stupid, dangerous and, o I forgot FRIGGIN IMPOSSIBLE!!..its data that needs to be tranferred not power....and data processing isnt done with megabytes...its done with certain components, cos software alone cant process anything...

and about sending a signal through a powercalbe..hmm...I think you can hardly to that...cos there would be way too much interference and distortion on the signal to do anything with it...thats why the good ol' fashioned tv cables have protection..( like coax ) but if its possible then you would have a decoding device in your home somewhere that u didnt know about..

Sending data through a power line IS possible...however, getting a virus in those other electronic devices is NOT possible...
