Looking for photoshop type software, any ideas?

When I switched to XP Pro I lost some software that my father had the cds to and I don't live with him anymore cuz I'm in college 4 states away and sometimes a country away if he's mexico...

So I don't have FlashMX or this other thing, and I wanted to know if anyone knows a good program that I can find that can basically do photoshop stuff, and have free range over things like FlashMX.

Don't worry about this thread anymore.. I downloaded something called GIMP, it looks great, lots of options LOTS, but I have no clue how to use, and the manual is confusing.

so if you know anything about GIMP, reply to my new thread called 'GIMP, anyone know about it? Pls reply'

Yep GIMP it's easier to use and free to download!!So if you want a photoshop-like program gimp is the better choice!!! I have it and it's pretty good!!
