Windows Live Messenger issue

I have scoured Google and Microsoft's support sites looking for an answer to my problem. I got some but they never helped in the lest. I have tried everything they told me to do to remedy the situation. So I'll turn to you BN, hopefully someone here can be more helpful.

The problem is I can not log in on Windows Live messenger, But I can log in fine on any other 3rd party version of it. Currently I am using aMSN. And it seems any other email that tries to log in is successful. So it is just mine.... the error code i am given is 800030d and tells me I can not log in b/c the service is unavailable..... So has anyone encountered the same problem and fixed it? If so please post how you did. Because all the things I have found on google/ MS's Site regarding the error has not helped in the least.

well i donno much but i google that error thing and ppl are suggesting it might b a firewall issue >.> donno 4 sure

but u can use Google Translate to translate it .....obviously lol

Yah, all the sites I found suggested about firewalls, re installing, all that jazz. But the only thing that acts as a fire wall on my pc is the built in one with XP, which I always have disabled. And it's not my anitviurs/ spyware protection. And if it were firewalls or w/e I doubt I would be able to sign in on an my joke msn account, or having a friend sign in. It only ever seems to be my email address: sephiroth_life_2 that gets this annoying error -_- thanks for trying though zB
