Well, *I believe there was a post like this before*
you could go to photobucket, click on a pic, and go to the IMG code, and copy and paste.
Or go to the "Insert Image" box under the paperclip thingy and insert the URL, OORR click the paper clip thingy and upload something from ye computer, It doesn't seem to work for me though. xD

that should solve ur problem if u just want an image, if theres any other problem just say

if you're tryin to put an image, just upload ur pic to photobucket or some other image upload site like tinypic and in "Edit Signature" in User CP type "[IMG]-the link from the image site-[/IMG]

in fact why not copy and paste exactly what u typed in ur sig here, and cut off part of the [IMG] tags if uv used em (use IMG instead of [IMG] just so we can see what uv typed inside it)

Go to an image uploading site like

Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket (most preferable!)
ImageShack® - Image Hosting
Welcome to PicAttic.com, a free image upload solution. Simply browse, select, and upload!

1) upload the image by clicking on the browse bar and select it

2) Click 'Upload' button

3) When the image has been successfully uploaded, click on the Hotlink for forums (1) code line and copy the whole code

4)Got to ur UserControl Panel (userCP on this site)--->Edit Signature and paste the whole code in the space below

5) Remove/delete the URL (u should have ONLY [IMG] at both ends) from that image code (the one you have pasted just now)

6) Press Okay and there you have it...
