It is called Ctrl+F
It is the search feature for Firefox and I think IE.
That is the best thing to use to make sure you don't double post something already made.

May I suggest that guidelines have their own category so they don't get lost in sections? I rarely use the support forum, so had I not seen this on the unread page, I would never have know about it.
Jimwhat is correct, it's not much of an issue for senior members because we've been around awhile, but with so many new members popping up, it might be a way to help them get better acquainted with BN if the guidelines were easy to see and read. At least then, they wouldn't have any excuses for not knowing, other than simply ignoring them.

LMAO Kyouri-chan! But yup, I third the motion of Kyouri-chan and Jimwhat-kun. It's better if the newbies are acquianted with this guidelines so that they won't be lost and to lessen the repeated theads..
Why would I keep on removing myself to those who HATE me if I could make their lives miserable just by EXISTING!

I don't see double posting as a large problem here. I think it kind of sucks when a thread gets to over 500 posts just due to the fact that going back and reading EVERY post takes far too long, and stuff is bound to be repeated anyways. So if you see a thread that's basically the same thing that you want to start a thread on, and that similar thread doesn't have a lot of posts, then you should refrain from starting a new one. One's that have a ton of posts that are long and mad old that haven't been used in forever. Why bother throwing in an opinion to a thread that old? You know?

God damned business Iguanas and their leather suits... They're buying up everything.
