Now before u say ive said this already ive read your answer in the thread for this, but im using windows 7 and its alittle different is there any chance you know where i find that shit in windows 7 cause i goto my computer and i cant find the folder/ or files lol.
My best answer would be to use Firefox if you are using Internet Explorer. ._. There's really very little support for Windows 7. I do not own a copy and would give you suggestions from Google that may or may not fix it. :x But, Firefox has it's own built application manager that's way easier to configure. o.o
Folder should be located in downloads in the my documents folder. Since windows 7 also has indexed search you could just search for the name. Other then that the only recommendation is if there is a "save as" button use that and select a folder manually.
I was having the same problem with W7 64-bit...Every download would go straight to Media Player ver.12 and hang or get a hot linking error. Since the old method with XP/ ie-7 regarding the Folder Options is not the same. This is what cured my "save as download" with W7/ie8.
While in ie8 click on Tools scroll down to Internet options then click on Security tab. You should see four zones available in the Internet zone click on Custom level scroll down to Downloads it's less than half way down. Anyways in Downloads/Automatic Prompting for file downloads make sure it's Disable click OK and Apply.
I did the same thing for all four zones just in case...Oh and it help's to have JAVA installed aswell.. This can be checked under Tools/Internet Options/Programs/Manage add-ons/Toolbars and Extensions...
