Kindly, do not make topics in discussions as we have the support forum to answer questions with playback issues. You are currently missing codecs needed to render the subtitles. I would suggest to read Read First: >>>>>> Troubleshooting Downloads <<<<<<.
Also, indicate if the issue is resolved or the topic will be closed within a week's time.
sorry for my ignorance, i have just thought that was the right section for other anime related posting...
anyway, i have read the troubleshooting downloads. and i am using VLC media player since then. i could watch shippuuden episode with .mkv format and no problem about that.
but some of Hajime No Ippo with .mkv format to name a few please try eps. 22, subtitle is not showing.
i dont know if i am just the one who is experiencing it. or watching it...
how can we verify it?
It's fine and I can understand. ^^" Ah I see VLC Player. Well, the thing is that many fansubs dislike VLC Player. ^^" Therefore they release their releases based on CCCP or K-Lite. Also, the Hajime no Ippo has softsubs and you have to manually enable then in VLC Player. Naruto has hardsubs and doesn't need additional settings for it.
lol, I knew that was coming. ^^" Well, it's pretty simple to do. It's in Video->Subtitles track->Track 1 and it should work. You can set it to auto detect and you find it in VLC FAQ.
No, I was assuming that the subtitles was working. ._. jk xD Whenever, some reports there is an issue with the subtitles I download and check it before providing any answer. o.o"
I don't use VLC Player as I had too many issues with it and due to varying fansubs, the releases are not suitable with VLC Player as they prefer CCCP or K-Lite over it. I would strongly recommend to install CCCP or K-Lite Packs and you will not have any future problems with playback. ^^"
