last post date

i want to suggest sth,since when updating a previous post the post keeps the old date(date of creation)which doesn't allow members to know that there was an updated post in that thread and the thread remains old unless someone actually dig that thread up and find out about the update ,so i suggest that when a post is updated it gets its last update date as to allow the other members to know that there has been activity on that thread and tries to comment on that update,thx for your time reading this suggestion

If you edit the post, the post gets added a time stamp. However, the database of the actual post time does not get changed as you are not making a new post. o.O It would be pain to do that as we will need to have a mod and then mod needs to verify that edit is done within certain time frame etc... o.o" Easy solution I woulds say to post in the topic... If you were the last person to post then I will say to repost in the topic and putting a note indicating why you posted again. o.O
