Bleach Network Ventrilo Server

Hello guys, I wuz wondering if it wouldnt be fun if we would all go and get a ventrilo server for the website then we could talk real time

Requirements:
Microphone (doesnt cost that much, check ur neighbourhood Electronic store)
Ventrilo (free download of the internet, if someone needs it i can offer a link)

How to use ventrilo:
All you do is when the server is created is go to the arrow next to "User Name" go to "new" enter a username and click ok.
Then you go to the arrow next to "Server" click new and input name like "BN ventrilo server", then you enter in the "Hostname or IP" for the server example: "groundzero.is".
Then you enter in the "Port number" normal port number is "3784"
And then a password if needed
Then you connect and join
Now the admins of the ventrilo chat can add and delete channels and can kick or ban people (if someone is not behaving)

Example of what channels we could have:
Admins Closet: (admins go there to chat lmafo, and a password can be added to the channels that need a password)
Bleach Discussion: (talk about bleach)
Naruto Discussion: (talk about the latest)
Showcase/Photoshop work: (talk about what u are making today or what u want to create but dont know how to)
Cafeteria: (Talk about anything u want in here)
the possibilitys are endless

Ehh I myself think this wouldn't be such a bad idea. I would love to have a cenversation about the 2 manga/anime I love he mot with people from this community. However, this would cost money for the servers and even more to have a certain amount of people in the server at once. If possible tho, I would love it!

Still doesnt cost that much and the donations from the people on BN have to go somewhere

Hey kamisama, if you really want this to happen you should also PM the thread post to contemptx so he is sure to read it......To me, something like this isn't that important, but their might be others who would really like it, so that is my advice if you want your idea heard.

lol sounds like fun, tho know too little about these things to offer some useful opinion I'm afraid..
Doubt the pc I have at this moment could handle it. ( Hm.. Would I have to fill in same port nr in Europe..? Or are right nr's mentioned in user's guide..)

There is a special ip and port number for each server so there would just be one ip number and port number for the BN server that everyone would use

I think before working on something like this, BN would probably work on some sort of real-time chat addition for the site. [Note: if anybody is super interested in a real time chat, we can all just log onto a messenger service and start a chat room, really. PM me if interested.] The voice thing is cool, but personally I'd rather type. It's more convenient for people who are at work/school and can't be talking on a microphone as well.
