How many chromosomes do you have?

Well, a normal human has 23 pairs of large linear nuclear chromosomes, giving a total of 46 per cell.

There are many disorders where a human is born with extra or deleted/missing/mutated chromosomes, for example trisomy 21, which is also known as Down's Syndrome.

So to answer the question 23.

Or you can take 46 and multiply it by the number of cells in a human body.

heh... he just beat me to the search site is all... if you look hard enough and can sort though all the BS then you can find whatever you need on the internet... some of it even for free...

oh and important fact... you also have to have the motivation to find it out... or else you'll just give up, say "it's not worth my time" and just do something else...

Sadly being a mutant in real life means being plagued with grotesque diseases & disabilities.

Or super powers! I knew it was in the forties from schooling but couldn't pin point exactly how many... I need to get back and take an A&P class.

yeah super powers don't really exist... so most mutations are either diseases, extra appendages or some disability... one example of a mutation is a 3 leaf clover... clovers are suppposed to grow with 4 leaflets... that is why I stopped picking 4 leaf clovers... because if I picked them all then there wouldn't be any for anyone else... plus you are killing off a variant of a species there...
