B&W signatures usually need a good lighting, depth, and flow. Making a signature out of a render is far different from using a sprite. Sprite signatures usually need more obvious flow, and color. Don't make it too drastic, though... since sprites are pretty tough to spot when your signature is too drastic. Try experimenting other color combinations, and don't stick with one color.
But... you're getting better, nice job, and keep it up.
