Lighting position is fine, just the way you made the lighting needs to be fixed a bit.
The Raises? do you mean rays?
You can rely on "c4d's" all you want in a tag, if you can execute it correctly, you can make an entire tag around just the character, "c4d", and some colors and such. Many people pull it off, it just takes practice.
You don't have to put them along the "flow" of your tag, they can be used just like how you have them there, to make a foreground/background and like you did, used the lighting for your flow.
You can place them like that, flat on, if you can make it work. People either do that, or use them for lighting/coloring effects or something else.
This tag would probably look a lot better if he didn't look stretched horizontally. You can also probably lose the text or work and experiment with different text. Also work with colors on your text.
