Please tell me the errors in these sigs

well here's some sigs i made previously so can anyone tell me what are the errors that i made

dude they are just plain horrible.

1. too big no interesting things too much text and yea basically nothing. all you did was some filter>render>clouds or somtin and slapped the render basically

2. once again too big some gradient thingy, slapped render, picture of red allen slapped on, some crappy text and yea

3.nothin great about this sig by far it is the best of the 4. well same thing gradient and so distorts, render, text which looks bad and you put outer glow on it obviously

4. render itself is crappy, the border which looks completely different from the rest of the "sig". all you did was get a picture of a pool of water with ripples and that was the bg, border, render which you copied a couple of times and idk burned the first 2 and than border, text which is also crappy.

^ I think the last two signatures aren't included with the showcase because it's his current signatures.

1. Good render, although the background doesn't really match with it. No blending whatsoever, and it seems like you merely made a background, and pasted the render. That's fine sometimes.. but the background doesn't make the signature good in any way, in my opinion. Also the text doesn't suit the signature at all. It's barely readable, the long quote you placed.

2. I like the render. It's one one of those renders that make a really awesome signature, in my opinion. Your background, however, is too plain. Very plain. o.o" I get the 'go deeper into the world of light and darkness' thing, since it seems like it's what you want to depic on your signature. But like I said, it's too simple. >.<;; You also shouldn't have placed that red render on the lower right.. and.. again, work with the text.

3. Not the best quality of render, but it could work. The signature lacks blending, no lighting, and no depth. _-" And.. as I mentioned in my previous comments, the text. It would've been better if you used much simpler ones like Arial or Verdana.

4. It's too huge to be a signature. Crappy render (no offense). The background is also too colorful that it destroys the signature already. And when you left a black space on the center, the colored border made the signature looked like a frame. o.o" Much simpler backgrounds would work for it, I think.

Good job, though. Practice makes perfect. ; )

well when he made CKS i asked him for it and it's all right i know that these sigs ain't so great that's why i need to know my mistakies and errors

You should change your title, as the title makes us think that you dont think your sigs are bad, you are just pissed that someone doesnt like it That was the first thing I thought of when reading your title, so remove "What the HELL is wrong with these sigs" to "Need comments on sigs" or something like that

I wont comment on the sigs since Glory and bm pretty much said it all

well i can't judge a person until i know for how long he/she has been making sigs. If u are a beginner, then no one has the right to give u some harsh comments but if you have been making sigs for quite some time then harsh comments are understandable. But nevertheless i'll point out some defects.
The first one is too plain. There is no blending at all and the render and the bg do not compliment each other. Its like you created the background and then put on the render.
The second one has the same problem but is much worse. He did try to create a shading effect but failed. Again the renders are useless here.
The third one is extremely simple which means-> bad. No blending again, u just liquified the background and placed the render but thats it.
The last one is a complete mess. U just randomly applied stuff.

My opinion is take a look at some beginner tutorials online and from then you will learn how to make good sigs.

u just use gradient,texture and liquify i those sig
there r a lot of thing u can use in PS
like lighting effect,smudging,gradient map,clipping mask
combine all of that with a good flow and depth=great sig
