This manga is truly amazing. The artwork is beyond profound and purely astonishing! Attention to detail is absolutely precise and defined. I have never seen a moment where Matsuri Hino (the mangaka) is lazy or even loses the meticulousness in her art.

Each character has their own personality with beauty. Even unintentionally, all the characters are beautiful, but the Night Class/vampires are even more gorgeous. There is something to like of each character, whether it’s a physical (duh, they’re vampires) or dispositional trait. The heroine has a steadfast personality, and the other two male leads keep many secrets to themselves.

Even though it has a dark, suspenseful atmosphere throughout the duration of the story, the plot is not too heavy and carries on quickly but not too fast-paced. The beginning is adequately given and progresses well but as one ventures further, the inciting incident is present and the tension increases rapidly. Numerous mysteries are yet to uncover and as each question is answered, a bunch more spring up. There is always something going on and something to worry about, which is good for a successful manga. It is rare for me to find a remarkable manga with magnificent/lovely artwork with an equal storyline to match.

It is obvious the mangaka places a lot of effort into the work. Sure, nothing can be critically acclaimed by every single person but by a high...85-95% (an estimate) will surely enjoy this...in my opinion. There are some brief moments of humor to lighten up the mood. It's nothing extremely scary, because honestly, there is only one scene that MAY be too intense (nothing inappropriate, just bloody) for anyone under the age of 16 (its rating)...but it's fine for the most part.

I highly recommend this to every single shoujo/romance lover and some lenient non-shoujo readers. If I could rate this well past 10, I surely would. Absolutely the most amazing/astounding/dazzling/outstanding/miraculous/incredible/...(I'll stop there) manga ever to enter my life!

I love this series. I only got to Vol. 2 and trying to read vol. 3. But I like the story of the series. Not really a vampire manga/anime fan but there are some types that I do enjoy and read.

I am with getto on this vampires are a automatic plus in my book, I've always found vampires fascinating as hell for one reason or another. If that makes me a freak then meh I could be worse things.

oh, this has been one of my favorite mangas for a while....
I've been reading it in Shojo Beat every month...I think I'm to the equivalent of volume 4....
