Anime Requests/Recommendation

id like to thank you bleach i watched the first episode of kanon 2002 and wanted to die so i switched to 06 ( didnt know it existed till i read this) and ive watched a bunch more its getting interesting. so far it seems like he makes to many promises to meet people so he always ends up hurting someones feelings.

double post but its like 2 days later and ya.
Here are some suggestions of animes that i have recently seen

Title: Kanon (2006)
Genre: Harem, Romantic, Drama
Plot summary: Story revolves around 5 girls that are connected in different ways to the same boy. yuurichi is a 2nd year HS student and has visited the city where the story takes place 7 years ago. The feeling of the city is very nostalgic for him but he doesn't have any memory of the things that took place 7 years ago. As the story proceeds Yuurichi gets interested in each of the girls and he starts remembering bits and pieces of the past, and that he actually met all these girls 7 years ago.
Review: I really enjoyed this show, it was very moving and heart wrenching. At times it had me laughing out of my chair and other times it had me crying my eyes out. The series starts out a little slow compared to average slice of life animes, introducing little pieces of each girls story. But once it gets going you get sucked into the raw emotion and cant stop watching.

Title: Shuffle!
Genre: Harem, Romantic, Drama, Ecchi
Plot Summary: Story revolves around a average Japanese boy named Rin, who is being saught after by a variety of women. The world they live in is occupied harmoniously by Humans Devils and Gods. 2 of them women after him are each a God and Devil and are the Princesses of there realm and both have decided to choose Rin as there partner to wed. He is also loved by an old childhood friend and a senior in HS. He spends his days developing love for all the girls when one day the women force him to choose. God girl trys to win him over by letting him know gods are polygamists.
Review: I loved this anime, I don’t think I could fairly describe this animes beauty. It does a great job at adding in all the things a good show should have. Its dramatic its funny its ecchi. The Character development is great you want him to pick each one of the girls ( except me I only wanted one). The only weird thing about this anime is it seems the first season was created by a different company or something cause the first 12 episodes is like pg13 but after that theres mild nudity. BTW the nudity was nothing at all nothing to start a scuff about. the ending is great and I must admit I cried for the entirity of the second to last episode

hi all

well im searching for an anime that has alot of demon fighting, something along the lines of berserk, and claymore... loved those 2

and also animes involving samurais.. something like samurai deeper kyo and Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto ( although this one concentrates to much on plot and to less on fights), ye and i watched kenshin and samurai champloo so im stucked now on finding a good anime of this type

if anyone wants a quick guide of above mentioned sh9ows feel free to ask

okay u should check out Hellsing, its awesome way better than Berserk n Claymore. As for the samurai thing, check out Afro Samurai, it has about 6 episodes but is very good. Can't think of others.

demon fighting:
-D gray man (ongoing, 91 eps)
-Soul eater (ongoing, 14 eps)
-hellsing (13 eps)

Samurai's (allthough you watched the good one's by now.. ^^):
-samurai 7: i loved this show, i liked it as much as i liked samurai champloo but its kinda boring in the first episodes.. (26 eps)
-and afro samurai (6 eps)

there are surprisingly very few well done samurai-based anime. All I can think of (besides what you've seen and what's been mentioned) are the Kenshin OVAs (which are spectacular), Peacemaker (which is pure crap), and Shigurui. You might wanna look into Shigurui... it's not very well known, but it's a decent show that takes place in the Edo era. Nothing truly special, but a good show you probably haven't seen.

Anyway, I would recommend a not very well known show called Record of Lodoss War. It's not as mature as Berserk or Claymore, and it kind of plays out like an RPG video game, but it's a very good show overall. Also, if you're into movies, I'd recommend Blood: Last Vampire and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (make sure it's Bloodlust). They are both classics. I know Vampires and Demons aren't exactly interchangeable, but whatever.

ok I need a bit of help...

Basically, I love typical Shonen action shows, but only in parts. I loved the Band of Seven arc in Inuyasha, the Kyoto arc in Kenshin, and Frieza stuff in DBZ. However, I really don't like long shows, and lose interest pretty quickly. So, I'm looking for a show that's similar to these parts of shows (as in, one consistent plot line, fights of escalating significance, fun characters, etc.) but isn't aggravatingly long. Hopefully, 50 episodes, give or take 10 or so, but definitely not something as tedious as Naruto or Bleach. Any ideas?
