Default What Does it Take to Make a Great ANime and Get it aired? - 04-22-2008

I always wondered just how much does it cost to make an anime? I mean lets say that I already have a great original script, and all i need to do is get the drawing and such started. Lets also say i wanted it to look like, for example, Karas. Just how does one accomplish that? Do i need millions of dollars and a bunch of equiptment, or do i just need a real good computer, some decent programs, and time....

well actually most animes actually come frm really really popular mangas then anime producing companies will approach the creator with a "we want 2 create ur manga into anime" thus anime is created by different ppl frm the original manga on top of that its huge teams of animators that create the anime and writers, directors, and a whole bunch of other stuff
so id say ur best bet would b 2 create it into a manga get it published on shonen jump & hope anime producers like it enough 2 make it into anime!

u don't have to do crap if u are the manga writer like Kishi n Tite...u can have percentages of the income that is brought from the anime team. But anime creating is one of the most difficult jobs ever since there are about 30 to 50 people working on computers almost 10 hours a day. Afterwards they can decide whether they want the anime to be licensed or not. If licenced, they will lose financially big time...if not, others can represent the anime and the manga team and earn them income through conventions, TV shows, cinemas etc. Big money spend here and there.

O really? See i figured i'd have to atleast do a bit of drawing....Honestly i can draw good, but i cant draw fight scenes and stuff...that shit is hard....So would i be able to get the story bought (if it's on point) and still be able to make good money?

of course...if u have good drawing talent, u get some sponsorship from a firm, they will put forward ur drawings to the anime industtry...they will decide whether they want to represent ur work or not..and when they do and if they sell, u get fixed percentage of EVERY episode or chapter they show to a third party...i'm in law bro, i know how all of this works...

dude check it all u have 2 do is get ur foot through the manga door 4 instance shonen jump
hold 2 comps every year 2 up and coming or noobs trying 2 get into the manga business
u submit a short manga kinda like a summery manga of ur original idea u know what i mean the 2 contests that are held 1 is for action story another for gag comedy something like some of the manga creators got their start by either winning this competition or really impressing the judges and such

as 4 the drawing part u can create the character designs then get a rookie artist 2 draw out the sequences 4 u because pros are way 2 expensive and rookie talents are jus as good except cheaper
or if u wanna get down and have ur manga come out exactly as u envisioned u can buy the 100's of manga anime books take some animation, human anatomy classes 2 learn urself and bam!!! you'll b able 2 execute ur talents in every aspect of ur manga
now this is a rough outline of some options and even with this its a hell of a mountain 2 climb and will take years but if u want it bad enough and dont give up then im sure ill b reading ur series someday
