I can't belive that no one has made a thread about this Anime.. well just Fumoffu but that is only one part of this lovely Anime..

The Anime follows the events and relationships surrounding Sousuke Sagara, a professional soldier of a covert international anti-terrorist mercenary group named Mithril and Kaname Chidori a spirited Japanese high school student that unbeknownst to her, is more than she seems. Due to his Japanese heritage and young age, Sgt. Sousuke Sagara is selected to go undercover as a transfer student and secretly remain Kaname's undetected bodyguard. With orders only to protect her from abduction by an unknown hostile force, neither Sousuke nor his two fellow Mithril soldiers assigned to the mission - Sgt. Kurz Weber and Sgt. Major Melissa Mao - are told any further details except to remain undetected and avoid drawing attention to their charge.

Markedly different in tone to the first series, Fumoffu emphasizes the high school romantic comedy aspects of Full Metal Panic! and focuses on the romantic tension between Sousuke Sagara and Kaname Chidori. It sometimes parodies itself on other anime stereotypes, and features none of the mecha combat and political intrigue which characterized much of the original Full Metal Panic!. It is just pure Comedy!

Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid
Episodes: 13 + OVA
Genre: Action, Comedy, Drama, Mecha, Military, Romance

This series takes place three months after the events occurred in the Tuatha de Danaan at the end of the Full Metal Panic! series. Mithril learns of a secret organization that has technology able to counter the ECS (Electronic Cloaking System) mode. This organization, known as Amalgam, also has "Black Technology", obtained from "Whispered" like Kaname Chidori, and like the other intelligence agencies, they intend to obtain more. However, when Sousuke's mission to protect Chidori is terminated by Mithril, all seems to be in place for Amalgam's plans.


And there you have it.. A nice summary on one of the best Anime's i have seen..
I realy recomend that you download the Anime and it's sequels !!! they are too good to be left un seen...

i have seen first and third seasone
good anime but it would be interesting if Sousuke would at last saw that Chidori love him.

emm.. He knows that Chidori loves him and he loves her.. but because he's job is to protect Chidori he can't just act like a normal boyfriend.. and it is against the rules to have a relationship with some one that is conected with work due to emotional interference that can affect his mission.. Already in ep 5 he runs in to save her du to the fact that he loves her.. if he had follow the rules he should have waited for backup but he did not.. And if you read the Novels it is even more clear that they love each other...

it is nothing like Naruto and Hinata... He knows and she knows.. hope this explains why they dont kiss and hug each other..

i know that this migth sound a bit harsh but read more in to stuff befor you post, so you can back it up if some one has a nother opinion against it..

I just love this Anime.. was one of the first ones i watch and it still is one of the best ones i have seen.. just love the love triangle between Sagara, Chidori and Testarossa

but dont be so harsh Meian.. i know that it looks like he dont notis her love for him or even Testarossa love for him... so it is not surprised that people think like he did.. But if you read the manga or Novels and look in to the anime more you can see that he loves her from a early start..

the truth is that i watched it a long time ago and i forgot some things,
it's true that he like her, but i think that he himself doesn't know what he fealed, because he lived to many years on a battlefield and in some ways he is still child or imature.
and chidori doesn't want to admit that she love him, even if she know that herself.
chidori has too much pride in admiting to public that she like him.

if you like action and machine try to read manga: red eyes, but is on the same stage as berserk or helsing in termin of blood and voliance.

although i'm a girl but this show was too girly even for me,sorry but i really hated this one

I think it worked as a comedy, but got old very quickly. I never got into the villains or the plot. Sasuke's "fish out of water" thing was funny, and Tessa is hilarious, but when they put it to a story, I'm not a fan. Loved Fumoffu though.

I have seen all 3 seasons. It was just great
