no other anime could i say VOLTES V the legendary robot

the best Gundam is Gundam Wing, strictly because of Endless Waltz. That was a fantastic conclusion.

The best mecha anime, in my opinion, is either Rahxephon or Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann. Rahxephon had great characters, and I always felt it accomplished what Evangelion tried to accomplish. Tengen Toppa is just amazing so far but I haven't finished it.

I have to agree on Endless Waltz, Eureka Seven is hands down my favorite. Mobile Suit Gundam MS 8th is really good to, its very character driven, opposed to combat. And lets not forget about Evangelion.

Gundam Wing is and will continue to be my favorite anime series. Out of all of the Gundam series it had the best storyline, the best plot and the best character development. The whole Zero system was an awesome idea, and it's one of the few Gundam series where the Gundams are a rarity. Only a hand full existed as opposed to everyone having one.
