Is it true about Kakashi?

Im wondering if Kakashi really got killed by Pain? Im thinking he is not because in the manga 340 you can see he looks all beat up but Katsuyu ( Tsunade's slug) is still on him trying to heal him. Also when Chouji found out his dad wasnt killed yet by Tsunade, he asked if Kakashi was dead and he didnt get an answer. So Im thinking that he is still alive. There is no way they will kill off his character right? Kakashi is a BADASS!!!! hahah If anybody have anything thought on this, feel free to post your opinion.

Well if it isn't in the manga, it isn't in the anime(not for another 2 years or so the way that is going), then we do not know. But one would assume that he is so close to death he could say hello to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Hokage by now. And the way Tsunade phrased her wording when talking to Choji it is exactly as i mentioned above.

okay in the manga i dont think he is dead..just cuz its kakashi..XD..and in the anime hes definitly not dead..i know that was off topic since this is the manga but still..anyways..i dont think he dies yet..and i think he did not get an answer cuz maybe kakashis wounds are life treatning so they have to concentrate on healing him fast..but not so life treatning that hel die..i think that hes not going 2 die..at least not until later on..maybe never..idk..well that was my opinion..

It's hard to indicate. However, Tsunade indicates as if he is dead. I don't think he is dead and he is more in a state of coma that's what I believe. Also, Kishi said that he was going to work on Kakashi after he finished focusing on Sasuke. So, we might see Kakashi talking to his dad in his coma and maybe he will come back to his senses after awhile...

he is not dead, he is in a some kind of coma state having a "dream" and or revelation that will help him stay alive!

Someone pointed out some time ago that Kishi did say that Kakashi had a big role to play (not Einar but someone who said it months ago:P). So keeping that in mind, i'm very doubtful if Kishi would let Kakashi die like that. Also we should note the fact that the Tsunade slugs are still working on Kakashi which indicates that he is still alive. Its kind of the same thing as what happened to Choza.

The reason why Kakashi cannot die is that Naruto won't be able to handle the burden of another loss. He is first of all weak after Jirayi's death and if Kakashi dies then his emotions might go out of balance... Plus, the other thing is that Kakashi is relatively smart and even if it's dangerous. He knows how to push his body to the limit and maintain his body condition without killing himself. I think the issue might be that due to his Sharingan Eye it might be the one that's causing him to fall into a coma. It could be one of the side effects for using the Sharingan too many times like Itachi going blind... But, I don't think Kishi is going to kill more characters...

Well its almost certain now that Kakashi is not dead, taking in mind all the factors pointed out by people here. But the thing that is now bothering me is, what role will Kakashi play when he revives fully. Kishi showed us the true limit to Kakashi's power during his encounter with God and Asura Realm. I'm leaning towards the Hokage thing. Because as far i can see, there are not other roles he can fill. And for that Tsuande has to die and i hope to God she does. Still there is a long way to go for the fight with Pein to end. We have to see Nagato and his compiled power inside his own personal body extracted from the Realms.

I don't know if I had said it here, but the way I see it he could be an adviser to the hokage, like the 2 damn old geezer, but better!!!

They are two and the two best suited for that would be kakashi and shikamaru!
