I could see Orochimaru completely taking complete control of Kabuto and still having an impact in the Naruto world. Perhaps to oppose the atatsuki or to destroy Konoha.
In my opinion, Orochimaru's ninjutsu was top notch and his main downfall was when he opened himself up to the sharingan. If he returns, then he could really stir up some crap.
Orochimaru have a important presence in naruto world indeed but in spite of is greats ninjutsu he is noting against sharing so until he "fixes" that he"s presence just gonna be a symbol of is reincarnation i dont think against the lasts akatsukis or naruto news powers he gonna have any chance though
Yep I agree I don't think Oro is much of a threat atm...yeah he is strong and stuff but Madara Pein and Sasuke seem more of a threat to me.Also Sasuke has the Ms now..so he is stronger that the time he defeated him.So of the people Konoha has to worry about...Oro is a little low on that list xD

yeah oro might still come back but he is low on the list on what I want to see happening. If Kabuto goes for Sasuke as promised Oro may have another chance of getting sasuke with his sick ideas. One thing though what the hell did that guy see in sasuke.

i think orochimaru/kabuto will still try to acquire the sharingan.. its been his goal ever since.. hmmm.. he will come back to mess up konoha's peace...
i don't think will be seeing kabuto /orichimaru again ,i mean manga writers tends to leave the villain alive somehow without having them in the story ever again,it happened in many other animes before and i don't think naruto will be any different

Well Oro`s Problem was that he needed a superb Body to be able to pull his ambitions off and that he allways tried and failed to obtain the sharingan.
i mean we all know how 1st Hokage has defeated Madara with EMS. So its possible even without Byakugan, Rinnegan or any form of Bloodline Limit.
and ...Oro was the guy who summoned!!! 1st and 2nd Hokage from the deads to his will.
So he could have been a real threat to Madara and Akatsuki, he was just a wreck without a body and relied on the wrong "bodytype".
Thats how i see it. He will be back someday, Kabuto was allways somehow counted out and returned some time later since Genin Exams. I think he is still planned in to come back.
