Most capable sensei -
08-05-2008
Ok here is the question. Who do u think is the most capable and effective sensei in Naruto? We've seen a lot of them. To name a few, Kakashi, Jiraiya, Sarutobi (3rd Hokage), Orochimaru for Sasuke. With the answer, i want some explanation as to why u chose that person.
I'll have to go with Kakashi in relation to both Sasuke and Naruto. Kakashi can tolerate Naruto's stupidness with amazing ease and his ways are soft in nature but hard in implication. Sasuke became what he is now because of the basic training with Kakashi. Although Oro is the one who taught him the jutsus but Kakashi was the one who taught him basic things and stuff that Sasuke later modified (full-body Chidori). Naruto, on the other hand, was taught the Fuuton Rasengan among loads of other stuff for instance on how to minimize triaging time and the fact about natural chakras.

Sarutobi.
Reason: He taught his 3 pupils who later became 3 legendary ninjas. That's all.

I have problems with this one, I happen to think both vergil and kingmoncy have the right choice. I can't make up my mind on who is the best... Sarutobi did teach the tree legendary sennin but my belief is that Kakashi's tree students (naruto, sasuke and sakura) will eventually succeed or have already succeeded the tree sennin and by that Kakashi should be the best. but I'm not sure if all Kakashi's students have succeeded the tree sennin. either way it's Kakashi or Sarutobi.

on top of that it was said that his pupil would become the savior or destroyer of the world O.O need i say more

You can't argue there. However Kakashi's pupils - especially Sasuke and Naruto - will also turn out quite well. And Kakashi appears to have made quite an impact on Yamato as well. In the end, these are all outstanding ninja and it is hard to place one over the other.

waahhhh.. cant make up my mind.....
ting! an idea came out! . . out of all, it would be Naruto himself...
reason -> all others are failure because they wasnt able to stop some of their students to go through the path of evil... yes they produced the almost god like ninjas of all.... sarutobi to oro, kakashi to sasuke, oro is already evil and so with his subordinates, jiraya to pein...
but compared to naruto, even not recognized as real sensei, he unconsciously teaches people he encounter to be righteous and positive, to see through life with clear heart adn bravery... he even taught every one not to simply judge someone.... that would just be from his childhood until he reached 15 years old.... so i think he would be very more effective sensei in the future.. when he will be recognized formally as hokage and sensei....
i hope i make sense. .. LOL

The thing is that everyone would blame the teacher for the student's wrong doing... However, the aspect you miss out is that. Even if the sensei/teacher tries to stop the student from going on the wrong path. He/she can only do little thing about it. What really matters is a sensei's job in bringing out the best of the student. However, it's up to the student to decide what to do with the new powers he has achieved. It would seem that the teacher would be responsible for teaching his student's going on a wrong path.
The teacher knows more about the student than any outsider would know. If you really think about it. There is no perfect sensei/teacher as there are flaws in everyone one of them. If you consider Sarutobi's is flaw was that he was unable to comprehend the shock of Oro going on the wrong path. He knew what Oro was doing and still was unable to stop him because it's harder to help make something and try to destroy after putting so much diligence towards it.
The same goes towards Jirayi and Pein as Jirayi had sensed something awkward when he saw the Rinnegan. However, his emotions did not want to accept that evilness would fill such an innocent mind. He only tried to bring out the good side out of it, but, he cannot change the fact of the consequences that Pein had gone through. Even if he spent time trying to explain, one cannot erase a frightening nightmare with few words. He may acted that way but swayed away once he was able to get the motive to fulfill.
As you can see that sensei/teacher's job is just to guide a student; however, not to tell a student how to live their lives. The choice they make do reflect on the teacher; however, they cannot force them to enact on their beliefs. Everyone has a right of their own beliefs and somehow they only hoped that one day they would see things in a different way than they have seen it currently. The most heartbreaking event comes when they have to confront their own pupil and/or have to even take the act of killing them. The teacher/sensei's who can take responsibility for their pupil's failure and still have the courage to stand in their evil paths are better than the one's who try to forget about it.

Now the last thing Naruto can manage is to become a Sensei...he is barely learning stuff let alone teaching them.He is still training while others (Sasuke) is done not only training but he accomplished his life purpose , kill Itachi, even though by doing so he found another goal.Thats why i think Naruto is reaaaaally slow learning. And thus his teaching abilities will be....almost non existent
IMO the best sensei was Oro.He taught all these crap to Sasuke and made him really strong. Also he prolly taught him to use the natural thingy Naruto is learning now cuz Kirin was based in natures chakra/power whatever that is called....Oro was the best sensei not cuz he is/was a good person and he likes/liked training people. He had his own gains.he wanted to make Sasuke stronger cuz the stronger Sasuke got the stronger body Oro would take over. Also Oro taught all these to Sasuke in way less time than Kakashi and Jirayia taught Naruto the stuff naruto learned...which are almost half of what Sasuke learned. If I had to pick a top 3 it would be 1 Oro 2 Jirayia (cuz he taught Naruto how to deal with the 9tails which is not really easy) 3 Kakashi
