Hashirama’s powers

Well we now know that Hashirama defeated Madara even with his EMS. We remember that Grandma Chiyo once said that if u come face to face with a sharingan users, u get the hell out of there. We also saw what happened to Kakashi when he went up again Itachi. Then how could a dude with wooden jutsu defeat another with a modified MS? If that is so, the First is the most powerful of the Hokages rather than the Third or the Fourth.
Any views on this?

ehm...maybe he can fight with his eyes closed..and feel vibrations..with tiny little wooden branches throughout the ground...but arial battles are harder to explain..

actually Hashirama did not fight with his eyes closed, that is pretty evident from the latest manga chapter first when he fought against Madara when they ran towards each other and also when they fought again near the Nine-Tails...
another thing how the hell did Nine-Tails show up in Konoha before Minato? And how did it go back?(because its pretty clear it came back again).

the 1st killed the fox..or used some weird power to control it and then kill it...cos it said that the SPIRIT of the demon fox attacked Konaha..not the real thing...

and the eye thing is vague yea..but they were mortal enemies and had been fighting for quite some time...so they prolly new everybody techniques and how to counter em :P

for the first argument, yeah i can agree on that...
as for the second, Madara was a totally different dude with EMS and his technique was not known by others except the members of his clan...and eve with the EMS, he got his ass kicked by Hashirama...

yea oke true :P but now we have no clue :P unless he found a way to dispell genjutsu...or he himself was very skilled at genjutsu...so madara lost the real advantage he had and couldnt win...and didnt Kakashi say a normal person w/o a sharingan would die instantly when his eyes made contact with a MS?

Well the 1rst had to be extremely strong!I mean beating an EMS user takes a lot of guts!I really can't see how though...maybe he had some crazy ass techniques!IDK!
As about the Kyuubi is pretty known that the 1rst could suppress it's power so I think it's easy for the 1rst to get Kyuubi out of the picture

and against the genjutsus well we know some ways to break genjutsus even the ones made with magekyou ....

We cant figure out how Hashirama beat Madara (Perfect Mangekyou user) cos there is so little information bou Hashirama's powers. Damn, Kishi =/ We kno that Hashirama's unique ability is to create a wood out o anything. (Wood based jutsu) Now, Yamato has Hashirama's DNA, he is able to perform wood based jutsus. We learnt that Hashirama and Yamato are the only guys who can stop Kyuubi, thanks to their unique powers. One thing, yeah, guys, how the hell did Hashirama survive the battle against Madara? Anyway, i remember the scene where Oroshimaru summon'd 1st n 2nd Hokages to fight against 3rd Hokage... I was lyk "WHOOAH! Crazy power!" when 1st Hokage creat'd a friggin huge tree in a short time. I gotta honour him by startin a new 1st Hokage FC (Madara, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Hokages too ) 4th Hokage was the strongest o all the hokages, accordin to Jiraiya n Tsunade.

dude killing the fox?????????????? xD how did u come up with that the fox was separated from it's body the second time it attacked konoha xD and as far as shondaime's power that comes from his ability to control bijuus and I think that the necklace tsunada gave naruto had something to do with that
