Jiraiyas contact in Akatsuki theory

Well me and my bro were talking about Naruto manga right now so he kinda came up with a theory.
Jiraiya said he had a contact in Akatsuki right?So can't it be Itachi?That would explain why Itachi was so reluctant to fight Jiraiya!!!Maybe it was like part of the deal for leaving Sasuke alive while he was ordered to annihilate the Uchihas!And why Sasuke wasn't suicided by the 3rd after realizing that Itachi let him live!!
So what we're saying is that Itachi killed the Uchihas but asked not to kill Sasuke so the 3rd made him join Akatsuki so that they have a spy there!Jiraiya doesn't know what happened he just knows that Itachi is a spy there!!What do you guys think??

huh? I can't remember that....when did he say he had a contact in the Akatsuki? Jiraiya obtained the info from the two rogue ninjas (when he turned one of them into a frog)...and also didn't Madara say the only ones who knew about Itachi's involvement where the two old people and the 3rd? Madara also said that he knew much more of Itachi than Itachi thought what Madara knew...

Yeah yeah he got some info from them!Jiraiya doesn't have to know the whole story about Itachi....or maybe Madara doesn't know that Jiraiya knows...and Jiraiya has mentioned that he has a contact in Akatsuki multiple times...the 1 time I remember pretty clear is on the Naruto eps (pre shippuuden) when I tachi and Kisame infiltrated Konoha he said "Akatsuki is on the move....my contact in Akatsuki informed me"

Hmmm, Since we know now that Itachi was a good guy, so its possible that Itachi was the one who feeding the information on Akatsuki to Jiraiya/3rd Hokage... After 3rd Hokage died, Itachi and Kisame came to Konoha.... picked something? Or gave vital information to Jiraiya? How did Jiraiya know that Akatsuki waited for 3 years to launch Capturing Beasts Mission.

if that's the case, it isn't certain that his contact is one of the Akatsuki...for instance it must be some of the Akatsuki's goons like the ones from the Rain...the ting is that i can't agree on Itachi being the spy because his mission was super-secret...also what u said is possbile in a way that Itachi is in contact with Jiraiya indirectly....when Pein killed Jiraiya wouldn't u think that he woud have done something or said something at the very least? for instance to Kisame who is more loyal to Itachi than he is to Tobi....

Yeah man thats what I'm saying he was not contact him directly!He wasn't calling Jiraiya from Peins phone yelling "HEY OLD MAN I GOT THE INFO YOU WANTED"XDXD but the 3rd might have sent him on a mission there as exchange for Sasukes life and the 3rd just told Jiraiya that Itachi is his spy there but it's confidential etc etc!Well I wish we could talk about this more thoroughly but I gotta go!So we'll continue this later!!XDXD

lol...No, no i meant in a way that the only contact with Akatsuki may be ONLY with one of their goons, not at all with Itachi (i was trying to justify the indirect connection in ur favor but i'm with this theory)...

damm u ronar stop posting my theories and come up with ur own jk anyway I always wandered why Itachi(the man that stopped oro with one glimpse) said that he combined with Kisame would die against jiraya it didn't make any sense and after seeing his ultimate chuck norris no jutsu aka susano'o I knew there is no chance Itachi could lose to Jiraya but why the hell would he say something like that. everything is explained with the last chapters Itachi was trying to scare kisame and stop him from making a move against Jiaraya cuz IMO kisame knows nothing about who Itachi really was. And it also explains why it took Jiraya so much to interfere when Itachi was kicking sasuke's @$$ well I hope discovered something there though we will have to wait for the weeks to come to see if this has any validity xD

Indirect communication? Via goons? I doubt that... Will read manga for hints tonight. Jiraiya sent encrypted message to Tsunade via wrote em on frog grandpa's back... I think that this method Jiraiya and Itachi used to communicate. After Itachi and Kisame escaped from Jiraiya, Jiraiya told everyone that Akatsuki planned to take action after 3 years... Coincidental? ... Later, all the Akatsuki members were in a meeting, a leader (Pein > @_@) told everybody that they will wait for 3 years to take action...

1. Jiraiya told Itachi to suggest Pein to delay capturing Naruto

2. Jiraiya learned bou Akatsuki's plan from Itachi

Either may be true OR both may be false... Theory, nothing more.

Yeah yeah I got that!lol and yeah this theory has it's flaws cuz yeah it's just a theory!All I wanted to ask is what are your opinions and if this is a good theory!
And when you say "I'm with this theory" what do you mean?
