MISSING GAARA THREAD!

Anyone here misses Gaara as much as I do? He hasn't appeared ever since he was brought back to life and the question still hangs in the air whether he has the same powers or not...If you notice in the anime at the end Gaara uses the sand to make naruto shake hands with him when their saying goodbye but in the manga there is no reference to his powers after the beast was taken from him what do you people think?

I just hope he appears in the manga soon cause I just can't take it!!!! GAARA I MISS YOU(

Well.. regarding the part where he used the sand to shake Naruto's hand.. I believe his 'controlling sand ability' and whatnot does not have anything to do with Shukaku. :3 'cause like what you've said, he did use sand to hold up Naruto's hand. If it does have anything to do with the Shukaku, then somehow, he retained that ability - for some reason.

gaara is cool but his story is done. the Shukaku has nothing to do with his sand abilities, he just don't have as much power as he did before. he still has all his abilities. But yeah gaara is in my top 5: i want to see him fight again and Rock lee.

Its going to be a loong time before we see Gaara again...he doesnt have anything to do with whats is happening right now, so I wouldnt be surprised if we didnt see him after all this Akatsuki shit was finished xD

But maybe he is going to help or something?

Gaara was a very cool character until he fought with naruto and started talking about protecting every1 the I lost my interest in him and I don't want him in the story any more because his story was finished and there far bigger things than Gaara going on right now about his powers I think they were dramatically reduced after loosing the shukaku and probably the next time we see him in the manga will be in temari'e marriage with shika or if kankuro starts kicking his @$$ as a payback for all the years of gaara treating him like trash xD

I think Gaara's coolness has run out with the extraction of his bijuu by the Akatsuki. He cannot do any of his former abilities like calling out the material bijuu or using the enormous strength in maneuvering the sand here and there which he did in the fight with Deirdara. Nor will the sand automatically protect him. The only 'coolness' remains with him is his personality, other than that, he is now nothing.

Yes, but we can predict correctly in the sense that he used bijuu's extended chakra to mold the sand. Now doing that would be a far fetched dream. Also he cannot do the 'Desert Coffin' move with an extended arm which belonged to Shukaku.

I don't think so because his people have much more respect for him...he saved their asses against Deirdara's bombs...had it not been for him, they would have been blasted into smithereens.
