sh***t, the forehead was far from the eye! itachi could not miss that! it was an elderly brother poke he was used to doing to the boy sasuke. oh no!!! itachi's goal was not the eyes of sasuke!!! then what is it??? that is why, the question: "sasuke's victory?" a further revelation in the next chap would make sasuke regret his brother's death. now he's all alone, utterly alone. his last remaining bond and the last member of his family is now gone. is he??? damn,ope itachio ius not dead,he is with sasuke my fav character

well I guess that Itachi knew he was close to death and could not take the eyes so he tried to act cool and poke sasuke's forehead before dying. As far as the snake I think it's orochimaru's farewell gift for Itachi. That would restore oro's pride after being owned in 3 secs by Itachi

but don't remove the Akatsuki yet...Zetsu, Konan and Pein remain...they may be the top three most powerful Akatsuki (apart from Madara)...

Damn this was kinda good!Shit Itachi died and CommanderCody don't you dare say anything about it!!I'm sad I don't feel like talking right now...........JK.!!Well I loved it when he poked his forehead just like he did back when the Uchihas where more than 3 in number!!At least he died with dignity he didn't start yelling like a little bitch or something!
