naruto,okay, but takes too long

i was never interested in Naruto until i saw the anime. I basically only watch the anime until the 100+ episodes, i turn to read the manga.
the manga was actually better cause it didn't waste time like the anime, the filter episodes.
Also, the manga showed how Kakashi got his Sharigen eye. The anime still does not show how.
But the battles take too long. It seems as if one battle takes up the whole volume.
The art was so-so. The plot, at first, i liked it. It was good. But then, later on, it was just dragging. One battle, takes, like, 10 episodes or something. -__-
What i don't get is, Sasuke left on his own to Orochimaru, so why does Naruto still tries to rescue him? Sasuke left on his own!! for goodness sake!!! i just don't understand!!!

I'm only responding to the part you don't get about Naruto. Naruto wants to rescue Sasuke from Orochimaru, (Whom Sasuke killed) because of the Kyuubi, Naruto has been ignored his whole life. When he was forced into Team 7 with Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi, he finally had people who didn't just hate him for the Kyuubi, save for Iruka. They accepted him.

But I need to get to the point,

Sasuke's like a brother to Naruto. Naruto had no siblings as a young child.

I know I suck at explaining things, but I hope that shed some light on what you don't understand.

Oh yeah, the manga chapters that show how Kakashi got the Sharingan are manga-only. That's why it hasn't been shown in the anime.

Rubber froggie pretty much nailed this one on the head. Naruto wants to rescue sasuke, because sasuke was his only friend. Though he has other friends now, it still isn't the same to him. He needs this friendship, and well, so does emo sasuke.

The anime does make a reference to Obito here and there tho. An example is in the episode of the 3rd's funeral...Kakashi goes but that monument statue thingy and Asuma comes up asking about Obito and if Kakashi was there for him.

Also, in manga chapter 381 I believe, Tobi makes a reference to Kakashi's eye and Obito so if this whole Kakashi, Obito, Sharingan thngy becomes a major point in the plot, we can be assured that the Kakashi Gaiden will be in the anime wether it's in the form of a flash back or what not.

And the reason battles take so long in the anime is pretty simply. It's for the anime to not get so close to the current manga chapters. If they wanted to, they could fit at least 3-4 manga chapters in 1 episode but then we would only have 1 episode of Naruto every 4 weeks, and to people who produce the anime would be making a lot less money due to a lot less episodes.

when i hit this thread, i thought you were talking about the manga and the lenght of the chapters... so here is my opinion: why the f**k should they keep us waiting week after week for another goddamn predicable chapter? that is really annoying... besides, where the manga currently is, it would take the anime 6 months to catch up with it... they have enough time to think the plot more than thoroughly...
to sum up, i would say that we deserve more from the manga... i know i`m asking a bit too much, but it`s not quite impossible... for instance, the last chapter was ALL about the fight between the two brothers... i mean, wtf?? the Naruto vs. Orochimaru fight didn`t last THAT long... >_<

lately, i was able to get a hold of myself only by watching new anime and playing some games... if it wasn`t for that, my brain would`ve exploded in the anticipation of the next chapter...

above all that, we don`t know WHEN the scanlators are gonna finish the goddamn chapter...

Freakin' A. I only get by each week by checking out spoilers and playing GTA. They always finish on Friday even though the weekly Shonen Jump comes out every Monday....
