The Ninja Debate..R' superhumans ruining Naruto? -
Nov. 14th, 2009, 12:07 AM
Ive been seeing hearing people say lately that Naruto is becoming less like Naruto everytime a new villain is introduced...that the show is becoming less like ninja combat, and more like X-Men Mutant Academy...
It's undeniable that the show has taken quiet a turn, but has it really changed all that much?
Even in the Chunnin Exams, there were some with unique abilities...Garaa was a beast, orochimaru...ect. So the ninja combat given hasnt changed much.
Now we are seeing guys like Kakuzu, Sasori, and Kisame...People are saying things are getting out of hand...I say things are pretty much the same, except more intense because now the tailed beasts are being introduced...plus everytime we turn around someone is messing with forbidden jutsus. What do u think? Is the show less, or more interesting?

I also think is pretty much the same the only problem I have is that in anime shippuuden isn't as good as the first because there is difference in the planning of the anime which is a big big mistake....what do you think that's the worst for me.....

yeah i still think its pretty much the same.
its just been dragged on too much
and its real gay that none of the good guys can do anything cool.
the thing that infuriates me is forbidden techniques, they say there forbidden
but the kagebushiin multi shadow clone jutsu is one?
and naruto does it every day
how can that be called forbidden when a 12 masters it.
i know its dangerous but hardly forbidden.
and why bother calling them forbidden, you know that a nija can perform any forbidden jutsu and wont get in trouble at all!
there forbidden but no one does anything when u do them :S

I think it's pretty much the same as well. Kakuzu and Sasori weren't really monsters, they were basically using techniques that had already been introduced, just on a much larger scale. I mean, we saw Kankuro using puppets since he was introduced and all Sasori did was elaborate on that technique. The only monster we have really seen is Kisame....and I guess Hidan. They really should have explained Hidan, but Kisame is just like someone fusing with their summoning.

Its more interesting since no one in my view can tolerate plain ninja action for like more than 300 episodes or something. For instance when they introduced Hidane and Kakuzu, it made it more exciting because people were looking forward ot see how Konoha are going to defeat them or what characters will be used. Same goes for Nagato etc. Besides, it not like they came out of the blue. They had their own stories, which made it more sense. If they came out of the blue then Naruto would have been stupid and iN would have dropped it a long time ago.
Also the thing that got me hooked up on this was Kishi's use of mythoologies as the basis of powers. For instance, the bnijuu aspect came from the Asian myths and legends while powers like sharingan and Rinnegan came from Hindu ones. I ahve always been a myths and legends fan so this was a very good thing for me.

I see but look that way.We are in a world where all countries have their ninjas and one have samurai,ok?The ninjas have many abilities and chakra manipulation on top to give them power to use overwelming jutsus, weapons to use, taijutsu, ninjutsu, genjutsu, soldier pills and healing abilities. All of them are relative to the ninja world because they practicly need them and use them. But immortallity, wires through the body puppet bodies are a different story. From my point of view Hidan is a vampire-hailander gyu,Orochimaru at the beggining when he entered Naruto was a snake summoner,a Sannin who was lost himself and became evil that's fine but when he become the giant snake,or whenb sasuke get to his back giant hands-wings it's was more like a mutant show....What do you think?

So the thing that bothers you is the transformations? If we really think about it, transformation was one of the first ninja concepts we were introduced to when the manga first began. Granted, they didn't turn into monsters, just normal everyday things or other people. I think it is just an elaboration of that ability.

well for one it was already stated that orochimaru completely altered his body in his search for immortality and also there are blood line traits which would explain hidan and one thing is that not all countries it just focuses on particular part of the world where ninjas do exist.... and just as you have ppl today coming up with new uses for ordinary things you could think of all those jutsus the same and i believe those jutsus would fall under light and darkness manipulation which are the other chakra affinities besides those of nature which they mentioned but did not explain.....
oh as for forbidden jutsus most of them like the kage bunshin are meant for higher lvl ninjas since they consume alot of chakra.... the ones i would say are really forbidden would be the ones that deal with life and death since the price to perform them are great such as a human sacrifice..
so i would say the show is still the same

Well whne you think about us humans are pretty much the same concept. Ninjas with immortality and crazy wires are the same as us having an uber big head or a 6th finger. (no offense)
