How come Madara and Itachi said that the only one who can control the nine tail is the Uchiha with MS...

I mean the first Hokage is supposed to have had all the tail beast but gave them away as sign of friendship to end the ninja wars...

My questions are, is there something I missed or is there something fishy about what Madara is saying?

Since he lied to Sasuke about the occurrence 16 years ago by saying it was a natural disaster and not him who make the nine tails attack Konoha...

Actually, it was stated by the Mizukage's aide that the only three to have been able to control the tailed beasts were Madara, Killer Bee, and the First Hokage.
