During the ninja war my family escaped. we hid into an house but 2ninja came in looking for food. Nagato's mother told him to stay hide.
Then his parents attacked ninja and they were killed by enemies.
Enemy saw nagato and then he asked "why do privates should be in the middle of that war? Im sorry kid"
right that moment a storm started outisde. the ninjutsu it's from a konoha ninja.

Even though i know the next few chapters are a MUST on Narutos developement, i had hoped it wouldnt be streched so much.
Because im rather interested in Kakashi and the village and not so much on the background of Pain.
Excellent chapter, goes without saying. This is the conversation I have been looking for quite some time. It really changes the individual focus when we suddenly shift from insane fighting and carnage to a simple story and a little peek in the main foe's past. And this is only the begnning. I would love to see Naruto's reaction to it because to me, Nagato's actions are perfectly justified. He saw his parents being killed when he was a kid and he had the power to take revenge.
