Yondaime's Cameo.

This is a relatively short theory/prediction. I believe that Yondaime will appear at the end of a future chapter, blocking a finishing attack from Pein, and saving someone's life. (probably Naruto) I think that it could be revealed that Minato and Pein are brothers if that happens. I believe it is proof that Minato is not dead, by the way Kishimoto constantly mentions him. We do not know if he even died. Nobody has seen his death, nor does he have a grave. Yondaime's death is an assumption. Even now, Kishimoto constantly mentions Yondaime with Jiraiya and Tsunade talking about him. Not only that, but there is an arc that shows Kakashi's past WITH Yondaime. That's why I believe when Yondaime has his Cameo, Kakashi will be there to further show the audience who it is.

Something like:

*Pein goes to kill Naruto, but Kakashi jumps in the way with his arms out*

Kakashi: *thinks* To save Naruto...our future Hokage..

(Kakashi closes his eyes and awaits his death)

Pein: *thinks* So he chose the boy's life over his own...Heh..Just like his father..

(His attack is suddenly parried)

Man in cloak: "That isn't like you Kakashi..such Nostalgia."

(Kakashi's eyes widen O____O!!!!)

Kakashi: *thinks* That speed..and voice..It's almost like...

Pein: "Heh...Long time no see...brother.."

-Who is this mysterious man? Kakashi's face shows shock and nostalgia! Tune in next time!-

I thought for a very long time, that without an actual corpse, and without the actual completion of the summoning of the 3rd coffin, that Yondaime is still alive as well.. However.. erickaujero and blackmamba posted info regarding the jutsus used by both Sandaime and Yondaime in order to summon the death god, which requires a sacrifice..

hmmm.. now that I think about it.. maybe Naruto's mother died instead of Yondaime during the ritual to seal the Kyuubi...

Just trying to back up your current theory (as well as my old one) cause I'd really love to see your prediction come true..

It hasn't been shown before that sealing a demon inside someone would cause the person doing it to die. That doesn't make sense to me. Taking it "out" of somebody is a different story (As seen with gaara)

If sealing requires sacrifice, all of the Akatsuki will be dead.

That's what I originally said as well.. I used the fact that Chiyo didn't die by sealing the Shukaku inside Gaara, but they showed me how the rituals used were different. Akatsuki doesn't call on the death god (Shinigami), and Chiyo apparently used a 'tea kettle ritual'.. whatever that is.. But I haven't read all the manga prior to the 300's, so I'm not arguing..

it would make sense if naruto's mother died instead, then the yondaime might have gone away because of grief. but there is also no reference to kushina's death. we don't know if she's dead or alive

Kushina could have sacrificed herself to resurrect Yondaime if he actually died.

about the sealing jutsus, there are a lot of different types so not all would cause the one to use the technique to die..(like chiyo's tea kettle whatever jutsu and the one used by akatsuki..)

about the "technique to bring back the dead".. are you referring to the one used by orochimaru(is that the same as the one used to summon the 2 hokages?)? that technique was a cool one.. but the question that's been bothering me is IF the summoning technique was used, wouldn't they go *POOF* or disappear after the use of jutsu? but that summoning used by orochimaru needed the sacrifice of two bodies..hmmm.. confusing!

Also, remember that the third used *clones* to take the first and second out with the fourth's jutsu - and didn't lose his life when those went. Perhaps Minato did the same thing with the kyuubi?
