Naruto's Old Training

Well we've had plenty of discussion of what is to come from his elemental training, but i'd like to discuss his previous training with Jiriaya. Now we know, that he went away for 3 years with a sannin, quite possibly one of the hardest ninja out there and yet has shown no technique or ability which he learned during this time.
Now I understand that he has been trained to protect himself somehow (either the movie or the last episode, mentioned by Tsunade), and yet short of releasing the Kyuubi (which lets face it, doesn't count as a move and sure as hell don't take 3 years to learn) he's done nada.

Talk to me maybe i've missed something

No man just like u say he just went to camp, becouse the only thing he learn was that more powerfull rasengan who use two kage bushin and control of chakra the rest was pure crap...damn naruto he is useless man 3 years and nothing...
PS: he only survive thanx to that dam fox otherwise he get kill since the first chapter...i like naruto show but not naruto he just get my nerves ...lol

I think that it also gave insight in how to deal with the kyubii within Naruto.

i think he has learned a lot from his Jiraiya training...we have not seen in any real combat apart from the one where he faced Oro. He was too angry to think rationally n apply the moves Jiraiya taught him. If there is one on one battle in future, Naruto may use his Jiraiya-trained techniques now that he is composed after his little confrontation with Sasuke in the Oro hideout...the only thing that lets him down is his anger ONLY. Once he has learned to master that, he will use his techniques. The nine-tails form is kind of his own devil-mode. The techniques he uses in that mode are very powerful but extremely limited. So when he is able and willing, he might use his new techniques.
Plus i don't remember who mentioned but Naruto might have learned Minato's techniques too because Jiraiya was once his (Minato's)sensei. So it is a favorable irony that Naruto gets those techniques.

I hope he doesn't looses his control when he learns of Jiraiya's death and who killed him. He might as well.

Naruto is a emofreak, im sure as hell that he didnt inherit that disease (J/Kin) from his parents.

I wonder why Naruto didnt use his new techniques Sannin Jiraiya taught him durin those 3 friggin loooooong years, to finish off Kakuzu in a short time, unless He only learn'd combat-relat'd techniques... But He still sucks in my book =/

I guess...but knowing Naruto you would think that he would be all gun ho to use any new techniques he learned.

naruto is too stupid and young to learn those techniques..( except for rasengan then XD )
and naruto has only recently learned about his element..so what kind of non element techniques could he have tought naruto then...? dont get me wrong I also think he improved A LOT..u just cant teach a 13 year old kid everything u ( Jiraiya ) or Minato knew in 2 years of training...he simply lacks experience and those 2 years were a good way of gaining them..its like playing an RPG as a lvl 5 and fighting a lvl 80 creep...it gives u massive xp XD

look there is a difference that u frogot to point out in Naruto's abilities. He has the enormous chakra of the Nine-Tails. He once used it to form Rasengan that took, what, three or four days to complete. He was a lot younger then and lesser expreienced. Now imagine what he may have learned after three years and his mentality is much more composed (apart from the brusts of anger. who hasn't?)
Jiraiya was the sensei of Minato. Minato was without any second chakra. Naruto is much more different. Take the Fuuton rasengan technique. It took him four or five days max to succeed. Compare two things. The amount of time he took to complete the early rasengan and the time to complete fuuton rasengan.
the secong comparison is the fuuton rasengan training. It took almost adecade for Minato to have his own special rasengan. Now with the nine-tails chakra and his stamina because of that, he is almost completed the rasengan power in a mere week...think about it...

Im not sure if im getting ur point here.....nah..I dont understand it..what the hells ur point here? O.o..and Naruto has a large shakra and a lot of stamina by himself already ( even though the kyuubi shakra slowly regenerates him )...he never used his kyuubi shakra to train until he started to learn his fuuton shuriken rasengan...and he never trained using a lot of bunshins cos he never heard of it b4 kakashi mentioned it...he trained the old fashioned way just like minato ( wasnt it 2 years btw...not 3 ) and he may have learnt rasengan in 5 days..but he cant even use it properly...thats where experience an PROPER training will do the trick..not just some speedcourse "baloons&shakrawhirls"..and Minato didnt make his own special rasengan..he just made a plain rasengan and then died...

and the time he took to make a fuuton rasengan wouldve been EXTREMELY long werent it for his ammount of bunshins...

ok to make it more simpler for you. U said that Naruto was too inexpreinced to learn new techniques and i gave u an example that why that is not true. And what are u talking about??? The kage bunshins were Naruto's speciality and if he wanted to achieve something and he knew he could through the lesser period of time, he would use it. He was a learner for crying out loud...Kakashi was trianing him so he gave him a short cut...
(ok, seriously i don't get where the 'kaeg bunshins' come into the expreince discussion)...
if u want to talk about experience, almost all the time (except the Jiraiya training for 3 years) something come in and his training is halted...so he doesn't have any time to master a technique as a whole so u cannot hold that against him...
