The new Naruto

Is anyone else dissapointed with naruto so far in the shippuuden series.
So far all we seen is that he still uses the same techniques unless they are saving them for episodes in the future. And hes still hot headed as ever. While Sakura is badass(especialy in her fight with Sasori).

The one thing i disliked about this series was always Naruto, if he didnt have Kyuubi inside him, he would be the worst ninja ever.

LOL Sakura has gotten a lot stronger....but Naruto hasn't really had the chance to do anything...so far we've seen him use a big rasengan and run around chasing Deidara....

I admit that Naruto always seemed to be average at best until he got really pissed and unlocked some of that 'extra' chakra. But.. I don't think the Kyuubi had anything to do with Naruto learning Kage Bunshin in episode 1, where he ended up defeating Mizuki. That was all Naruto. But compared to Sasuke, at the time, yea, Naruto definitely needed the strength of the Kyuubi to look better than Sasuke.

But.... give the series a little while.. you'll see that Naruto has matured quite a bit and is quite capable without the use of the Kyuubi. And I think that we are about to see something pretty cool within the next few eps, where Naruto is concerned, as Sakura's fight is about over. (Although she is a badass now.. O_O)

True...now we're probably going to focus on Naruto + Kakashi vs Deidara...which is a really good battle...can't wait to see it animated

I haven't read this upcoming part in the manga.. So I'm just guessing about how good it will be from the manga that I have read recently.. I really hope you're right that it's a good battle, but any real battle with Kakashi in it looks good to me.. I'm just hoping we see Naruto do something great without the help of the Kyuubi.. being the main character, it would be nice to see him grow in the anime, based upon his own skills.. and soon..

anyways, im a bit disappointed too with the shippuuden.. why do they have to add some extra scenes/dialogue which aren't in the manga?.. why are they delaying/prolonging each episode? there are some scenes in the anime where sasori looks really gay and the artwork isn't good..
