Sealing the Kyuubi

Since Yondaime used the same jutsu to seal the Kyuubi, as Sandaime used to seal part of Orochimaru's arms.. why is the Kyuubi inside of Naruto and not inside of the Death God? Isn't that how the jutsu/seal works.. you take the one that you are sealing with you? Or does the Death God only require the sacrifice of the sealer? Or.. sorry.. does the Death God only require one sacrifice, like the Kyuubi could have been sealed inside and leave Yondaime alive, or Orochimaru could have been sealed inside and leave Sandaime alive??? I'm confused.

true that is a good point but i think he told the death god what to do before he sealed it in naruto

Oh yeah.. someone else asked this in another thread.. what's up with the candles surrounding Naruto? It looks to me like the whole thing was planned to use him as the Jinchuuriki.. That had to be a most elaborate ritual.

it was mentioned in another site that yondaime used 2 types of sealing method in combination (he must be that talented..)

the 1st one was Shiki Fujin or corpse sealing method.. this was the one used by sandaime hokage on orochimaru..

the 2nd type was Hakke no Fuuin Shiki - Eight Divination Signs Seal Style..

so maybe he used the Hakke no Fuuin Shiki (i think they got this at the part when Jiraiya examined naruto's seal, this is what jiraiya called the seal on naruto) to transfer the kyubi to naruto and the shiki fujin in conjunction.. (that's why i believe that Yondaime can't be alive anymore..)

what confuses me is the seal formed on both sandaime and naruto almost look exactly the same... oh well...

ARGH!!! Too much info to soak up without reading the manga again and staring at the dang pictures.. BUT... gonna do it..

Alright.. why then, would Yondaime have to use the Shiki Fujin at all? And yeah, if the seal is the same - Fuuin Shiki - on both Naruto and Sandaime (which we would assume is the one associated with the Death God???), then why isn't Naruto dead, too??? OR.. is the Shiki Fujin the one associated with the Death God, and if so, why didn't Sandaime use it?????

Gaahh.. I'm even more confused.. and then there's those dang candles, too..

all we could do at the moment is speculate...

one idea i got is.. maybe some of the inconsistencies in Naruto could be really a mistake on the part of Kishi.. (Like, he or his artists didn't draw the seal on the 3rd hokage that well for it to look like naruto's).. or Jiraiya called the seal the 8 divinations seal as a description to it.. but the Shiki Fujin is the technique to create the 8 divinations seal.. oh well.. speculations..

Lolz.. I knew you'd come up with something, even if it was mere speculation.. You could be right about the graphic errors, but that would just suck for those of us.. *ahem* you included .. that enjoy piecing puzzles together. But I can't see Kishimoto being the one to actually make the mistake, as he seems to be up on alot of Japanese lore and spirituality. (Yeah, I've done some checking.. ) So is the anime drawn like the manga, if so, then.. hmmm.. I still have no idea..

Maybe he "asked" the death god to seal it in Naruto, but take his own life (Yondaime's.) That, I think, would be enough... Hmmm. The manga's pretty confusing, though. =\
