It's like $700 or $800. xD Considering, that Adobe is the only one providing such features. The prices are bit outrageous for the software. :x Plus, they come up with a new version in like a year. So, it makes it pointless to buy them unless you are working in a company to afford to pay. o.O However, people like us cannot spend $800 on a software. Our computers are much cheaper than that one software. xD
I used Photoshop CS3 to make the sig. Well, I have been using it for a while now like 2 years I think. In actual the amount I spent on Photoshop maybe less than a year. xD However, when you are new to Photoshop it could feel like a maze as it contains lots of features. But, if you use it often then you will get used to it and learn many neat tricks. ^^
I would say not to rush with it and take your time. There are also tutorials to provide guidelines on using various tools in Photoshop. :P You can ask me or any of the members that use photoshop if you are stuck at something or want some feedback on your work. ^^
