New larger sigs

Yea! Ok seriously... I've been learning some new styles (new for me anyway) and doing some experimentation. Taking breaks while working on my site revamp. I'm posting them here as a few are a kiss bigger than the "400 px" they can't go over in the other forum.

These were requested sigs:







And some sprite sigs...these are a new thing for me.

Thanks guys. I have been told by a few the others seem kinda uniquely me. LOL But as long as the people who requested them like em I feel good about it.

I really appreciate the comments on the sprite sigs. It not just a new thing for me... in all honesty I've never been wild about them.. probably because I think they are more challenging to do for me. So knowing the look ok means a lot. Keeps me working on more of em.

Well, I didnt really like the first three to be honest, the borders ruin the sig, there is to many renders and and to much of an obvious stock picture, you should blend it more like you did with the first one, but you couls still se the stock

And also, I like the idea with the Death Note sig, but actually seeing it totally transparent that you can see the first layer is not good :3, And you faded Light pretty badly (You just erased some of the parts right?) There is another way to fade him more properly,

The Ichigo one has to many renders, and the border thingy is not that appealing, I barely see the background, but from the looks of it, it would have looked much better if the style was simpler but the work was better

Aw.. I love that Deathnote boarder. I've never seen anything like it.

Anyhoo the lowdown on them. First of all none of them are transparent...except the outer edge shape of the third one.

1st one took 34 layers and used filters for almost all effects. An eraser never touched that one.

2nd one took 48 layers. No filters... the "checkerboard" effect was an overlay on one of the back layers it is not transparent it was intentional. A combo of brushes and fractal extractions used for effects. I don't know why it looks like it was erased... an eraser never touched this one... so I'm not sure how to improve that.

3rd one was a color theme. And the person wanted the 3 renders in there so there you go. Again took 28 layers and was done in the same fashion as the 2nd one.

My opinion of sprite sigs is I don't much care for them. Honestly... while mine may look ok... I've seen SO many of them that they just don't stand out to me anymore. I only do them as a request. And wile I've seen some really bad ones most can pull off making them at least as well as I can. So they just are not all that unique. And I don't like over blending. I dislike having the focus obliterated. If thats the case why not just make an abstract sig with ones name on it.
