Well, this is my first large art, so be nice

I was playing with photoshop today, and discovered some nice tricks with the pen tool, gradient tools and some imagination

So I hereby present you;
My vista-like wallpaper

If I can make this, those noobs @ microsoft aren't that good at all

EDIT; V1 is replaced by V2, which has a better flow and is bigger (1280 x 1024), so if ya wanna use it, ya can, just let me know and rep me

Its very nice. Yeah i saw some tips like these online but i'm not a pen toole type of a guy. Very nice looking, good job

But i should say that the lines look randomly placed. Fix that, this one will be good.

I was just trying some stuff

and came up with this

And they aren't placed randomly

I wanted to look it like that in the upper right corner, but I see it looks kinda weird in the lower center....

Use these types of things with the sigs. They will look much more professional. Plus keep in mind that use the gradient maps that suite the sig's color structure. As i mentioned, use them as to create a good flow.

lulz, Microsoft doesn't really concentrate on wallpapers now, do they? xD I think they're basically tired of programming already and probably said, "Meh, here's a generic wallpaper." D: haha

Anyway, I like the colors. And like what Vergil has mentioned, it does look randomly placed. o.o" maybe you spice it up a bit more, and make good flow. ^^

It's kind of nice, but I don't like it since it looks like the Vista one, haha!

I'm starting to get used to Vista now, but I don't like their wallpapers for some reason.

I never said I liked Vista

to be honest

I HATE IT

But I thought it was cool I could make the same wallpaper
