Shana/Hitsugaya Wallpaper

heyyy, well i was looking at my wallpaper and well...i dnt really like it plus...its just another back i got off the net. thennn i thought....since iv been using photoshop a lot lately...why not put it to use here?

and sooo....made a background for myself ^ ^
sorta happy with it....i can see loads of ways to improve it but dnt wanna go back through the hassle...plus this is only my first try at a bg....

soo here it is (note: its MASSIVE and widescreen):

Now for comments:
Don't put your name on the wallpaper! At least make it small and in the corner.. it ruins it...
The bottom of the upper fire shouldn't be so straight.
The transition could be smoother between the halves

The whle thing is good, but both halfs did not fit at all, try to make it more smoother to make it look as one, and another picture of hitsugaya would have been cool, maybe something like the girl on the left...

hmm...u mean the transition between the fire and the ice, right? not the actual pics?

lol i couldn't find pics that were similar to each other. Shana mainly had the wrong poses. the one i used was a screenshot. was the only one i could find in the right pose.

with hitsugaya theres basically NOTHING...nothing good at all!!! that was the only thing i managed to get. and its pretty good (its actually an 800x600 wallpaper so its kept its quality as i didn't need to resize it) but its not a screenshot. all screenies of hitsu are really bad and really zoomed out.

so ye...gettin similar images was impossible so i decided to just stick with them.


also i was having toruble thinking of how to make the transition between the two. all i could think of was a gradient that faded out both ways....any ideas on what else i could have done? including ways i can make the change between the fire and "ice"?

A transition doesn't necesserily have to be a smooth one. That'd be difficult for fire and Ice.

You could make them 'clash' though. Maybe some sort of explosion, or bright light?
Maybe water in the middle, glowing red on one side, and frosty on the other?

hmm...i was thinking of putting a wind filtered barrier in the middle....but uv given me a couple of ideas about that. thnx ^ ^ ill try it at some point.
