So I'm not exactly new to the site per se (I've been downloading anime from bleach network for quite a while. I know, I'm such a freeloader), but this is the first time I've thought to post in the forums, so I figured I should introduce myself first. I'm a student at a pretty well-known university in Virginia, currently majoring in computer science and minoring in math. I first became interested in anime when a friend of mine freshman year introduced me to Bleach. After the first episode, I was pretty confused; it was weird and very VERY different from anything I'd ever seen before, and yet it also piqued my interest just enough to make me watch more. Then came episode 2, and I've been hooked ever since.
I don't really know that I have a favorite anime per se, though when asked I usually just say Fullmetal Alchemist, since I probably enjoyed watching it the most. Other anime I've really enjoyed include Trigun, Trinity Blood, Jyu Oh Sei, Cowboy Bebop, Bleach, Naruto, FMA:Brotherhood, and a few others. I'm currently watching a number of anime, though the show I've most recently focused on is Canaan.
