Oh, yeah, I liked that effect so I put it over all of the layers on low opacity. I thought it looked nice. Maybe there is something wrong with Grimmjow, but that's how the animators drew him, so I guess that's how he's supposed to be.

This is just my suggestion. I would say to stick with rendered images rather than rendering the image by yourself. Also, what do you use to render the images and it seems that you are not zooming in enough.

Oh, I didn't know it made that much of a difference. I just use photoshop to render the image, I used the eraser and erased everything but Grimmjow. I thought that was all there was to rendering an image. The reason I did this is because there were no good renders of Grimmjow anywhere, believe me, I checked like 20 pages of Google images.

You should check a good rendering tutorial, it's not that hard to get a decent cut. Personally I prefer using the pen tool btw, don't ever use the eraser again.

The pen is too small for me, and it was easier with the magic eraser so I thought that was the right choice.

No I'm talking about "the pen tool", it's a tool that allows you to select stuff using anchor points (or at least that's the way you use it when cutting out an image). Basically what you do is go around the whole outline of the image, inverse selection and delete the background. The polygon lasso tool can also be used but you can't take breaks using that so I prefer the pen tool.

I think I know what you're talking about, I might try that some time.
