Hmm they are really good. What do you use to color them? o.o" Do you draw it on a tablet or Traditional means of Pencil and Paper then scan it? ._.

I will say that there are some minor flaws, which is hard to be seen. Also, I think you should practice more on coloring. Your drawings are good; however, if you become better with coloring then it will look more amazing. The color choices is an issue too as most of the time the drawings has a bright background with bright colors on the characters making it difficult to see lighting, shadows, tones etc... The other thing I will point is the outlines of the characters when you use like less than 1 pixel. It shows as jagged. I can tell you how to fix it; however, I don't know what you use to paint/draw it in. :x

Well, I haven't used Sai Painter before. _-" However, this is how I would fix it in Photoshop with the jagged edges. You can do it by making a thicker edge by like 1 or 2 from what you choose now and by using an eraser with lower opacity erase places where it looks awkward. o.o" This should help it smooth the edges and will create a better flow in your drawings.

As for your coloring, I think you should try more of a water color as I think you are better suited for it. ._. The other way to practice is to use manga images and color them as they are good means of practice. o.o"

orz references for poses are well frowned upon in dA.

M--My brushes are actually ....3 pixels... at least orz Pen pressure makes it really low. D:;;; -Doesn't press hard on pens- -FAIL- Sai Painter doesn't believe in opacity frsrs. -SHOT- ;;;;; I'll try to do that when I use photoshop again orzzzz;;

I tried watercoloring before. (I'll try to look for the picture I watercolored...ish. :'D; )
It's hard to master unless I can do everything in one layer. ;__;''''' -very paranoid about colors so I separate layers a lot. - -SHOT- I'll try to watercolor something today though. =//v//=;;;

lol, it is. But you can use those references for practice, it is extremely helpful. Everybody starts with a little help, too, you know. o.o" Once you get the hang of the poses, you can get rid of the references and do your own.

I don't press hard on pens, either. I think that is my problem, sometimes. >.<; Photoshop is very helpful when it comes to these things, so you should use it again soon.

Those are pretty good drawings you have there. (I haven't drawn in ages.) I'm the other way around though, I absolutely suck at drawing chibis. _-" I use Corel Painter, Photoshop, and a Wacom tablet. I draw anime and comics like Spawn. ;D

Studying the color wheel would be extremely helpful. ^^"

never try to color mine because i'm afraid i'll mess it up, so i have about a dozen pictures just in black and white
i do try to shade them though
