a Riddle for Aizen

this is an old riddle .... some of you may know it already ....

After destroying Karakura Town, two Royal Guards appeared guarding two huge boxes each(one box for one guard), which can only be opened by the guards. Inside one of those box is the key to the palace of the king of Soul Society. The guards, who happened to be vizards, gave Aizen a chance to ask one question to only one guard. One guard answers only lies, while the other guard answers nothing but the truth. Nobody knows which guards tells the lies and which tell absolute truth.

If Aizen chooses the correct box, they will reward him with the key and entrance to the palace. If he forces them to hand over the key, the guards will summon all of the zero division to dispose Aizen. Still the palace is full of royal guards.

i tell both of them,your not the gaurd of the box right......whoever says no they dont have the key its that simple

u can only ask one question ...

and there is no indication as to which guard
tells all truth and which tell all lies

both are gaurds and if they tell a lie like there not a gaurd then they dont got th key.....but if they dont got the key and if the lie they do got the key..........im getting confused

How about you ask any of the 2 guards "Are you a guard?" if one says yes then he's the one thats telling the truth, if one says no that means he's the lier could that work?
