Credibility of Academic examinations

ok i want ur reviews ur about the academic exams we have annually in our respective colleges meaning whether they are useful or not, taking in mind the future prospects...
In my view, they are utterly useless..they do not prepare you for the part of ur life when u take up professional jobs n stuff...u only need is practice in the field u want to enter...exams test our knowledge not skills and skills are the only things that matter when applying for a job (years of experience of instance)...i have seen people (some of my friends) who were complete idiots in colleges and they got jobs in multi-national firms and are earning more than most of the other college graduates...at least that is true in my field, in law...tell me ur views n arguments are welcome
