Ok I Think This Is A Messed Up Holiday
The Ppl Who Raised Me My Uncles Well One Of Them Lost There Mother Today
She Was Shot In The Back And Killed During A Store Robbery
Now It Was On The News This Morning And Well He Didnt Know At The Time That It Was His Mother That Was Killed
Well His Sister Called And Told Him And It Was Sad To Look At And I Dont Know What I Can Do For Him
He Has Always Been Real Strong And Nice(WIth A Mean Yet Funny Sense Of Humor)
And Almost Always Smiling But Right Know He Seems So Depressed
I Dont Know What To Say
I Knew His Mother But I Didnt really Know Her So Its Hard To Relate As No One I Have Loved Has Ever Died
Ppl I Met Have Died But I Feel Nothing And I Wonder If There Is Something Wrong With Me
But Right Know I Really Want To Know What Can I Do For Him?

HOUSTON -- An innocent shopper was killed during a robbery and shooting at a Fiesta store in north Houston. The robbers are still on the run.

Police say two gunmen wearing ski masks burst into the Fiesta on Fulton at Patton just before 9pm Friday. The gunmen tried to get into the store's courtesy area, but an employee told them he did not have a key.

The robbers exchanged gunfire with a security guard, who was hit. The security guard was taken to Ben Taub Hospital and is listed as stable.

A woman who was at the checkout line was also shot. That woman was transported to Ben Taub Hospital where, she later died.

The store was filled with customers at the time of the shooting.

"I ran towards the back where they had the products and I saw an exit door," said witness . "I opened the exit door and I opened the door and a lot of people started running after me."

"It was horrible," said witness . "I've never been through that. I'm still shaking."

Police say the robbers drove off in a stolen minivan. It was later found several blocks away. Blood was found inside the van.

A man's body was found in a residential neighborhood shortly after the botched robbery and shooting. Police are trying to determine if he was one of the suspects. The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy to determine the man's identity and cause of death.

The suspects reportedly are in a dark Lincoln Towncar. Police will review surveillance video from the grocery store for more clues

try to comfort him and keep reminding him that we all are going to die one day and that he will be reunited with her in the after life
about the way you feel when someone you met dies:
don't worry your normal, you just haven't lost anyone that is very dear to you...

imo it all depends on how close you are with your uncle..
I know that if it had been my uncle.. I wouldn't be able to say a thing.. I love my uncle.. I really do.. But his mom just isn't in any way related to me.. So I can't say anything and I don't think I ever will..
I would just let him mourn his mom and give him space.. Nothing more I can think of.. I'd just be nice and try to help wherever I can..

sorry for ur uncles loss...like waterdrop said give him his space and like raphin said remind him we all die someday....also...after a while u could always try to bring him out to places to distract him from the thoughts of his mom....it might be kind of hard but u guys could go out to eat...or to movies or bowling and stuff..a thought like that is almost imposible to get rid of....but u could try to help him keep his mind from it for some time...even if its just a couple of hours bowling...or playing games...good luck with w/e u try to do

Personally I dont think its such a great idea to tell him that everyone dies eventually. Not to offend but that isnt goin to make him feel better. But otherwise I agree with the others. Just be there for him and help in any way you can. Let him know he can lean on you if he needs to.

My dad is kinda like that. Very stong , and so on. I've only seen him cry once in my life and it was when my grandpa was beaten to death back in 97. Imo, the best thing you can do is let him know your there, if he needs anything, and then as strange as it sounds, do your best to act like everything is normal. He'll need that.

All you can really do is show him that you still love him, and give him time and space to heal....True healing is done in your heart, by yourself. That is where it takes place and where lives change.

This world is really F**** up!!!Really sorry for your uncle's loss...the thing you can do for him is just be there for him...thats pretty much all you can do!Everything needs time to heal...
And as I said i the beginning this world is F*** up I'm only 16 and I almost got shot once in a similar situation...

Yah, sorry about your loss. But it's all good, people die every day, and even when the pain feels like it's too much, you just have to move on.

yeh thats right everyone will die eventually im not gonna go into full detail because wheneve ri do heaps of questions erouse in my head like what will hapepn after i die will there be god waiting and stuff like that you know
