end of the decade means a lot of lists will be coming up... This is IGN's top 25 xbox 360 games. Needless to say, no one is going to completely agree with it, but it's still an interesting topic of discussino.

As much a fan I am of Mass Effect, I don't think it should have surpassed GTA IV. And Fall out 3 as the 3rd? Come on. Only an idiot would think of it higher than the likes of Bioshock and Halo 3. And I haven't even heard of Baird >.> A friggin NHL game is higher than Dead Space? The whole list is screwed up honestly.

lol, I see Braid on the list. That's a 2D game and is more like strategy then Action game. I didn't think that lot of people would be playing that game as it's very simple and has a plain story line as well...

Braid is very simplistic. One of the best 2D platformers ever, but it's hard to compare it with the more advanced, complicated games.

This list is far off from my personal preference. And I'm sure it's gonna be far off from most people's. I just can't understand how anything other than Halo 3 is at the top spot. It's not my favorite 360 game, but that game carried the entire system for a long, long time. And it's not even top 5? I really feel it deserves to be #1. It's iconic, highly-regarded, and easily the most important game in this system's history.

Couple other points:

NHL 10 and FIFA 10 are amazing, no question, but I don't see how any of the EA sports franchises are significantly different from year to year that those particular installments deserve special merit. FIFA 09 was just as good, as was NHL 09 (and Madden, too).

I still don't think Orange Box should really count, consiering it's just 3 games that were ported to 360.

Way too many new games on this list. Borderlands is the 13th best 360 game of all time already? We don't even know if it will be relevant in 4 months.

Seems pretty accurate to me, although theres no way in hell that "Braid" is better than Left 4 Dead lol.
Not by a long shot.
I personally think the PC version of L4D is better than the console as well, I don't know how it is on the Xbox 360. :/

It just makes you wonder how a flash game is doing better than a game where a company spent a lot of time on it.
