I think thats a fine idea. Firstly, it will keep you up to date. Secondly and most importantly, it will reduce or stop creation of new threads asking 'when is this happening' or 'will you/can you do this'. Excellent idea, makes the site more professional like

I like the idea of this. It will be really good to keep the members updated well, especially those who have missed out on a lot here on BN. o.o So yeah, I vote yes. xD

I think a newsletter would be great. I like knowing what's going on, knowing if there is something we members can do to help or just try, who's doing what, maybe something like oldest member list or a whos new list included, and so forth. So I think u guys should do it.
