Avatar The Last Original Anime?

I really like it myself tbh, my favourite character was Sokka I was pretty gutted when the series ended, best 'cartoon' nick has produced anyway. Really orignal and I loved it. Took ages for them to complete though

Anime, by definition, is Japanese... it's short for "animeshon." Avatar is not an anime. It's an action cartoon that is heavily influenced by Japanese art, but it can't be considered anime. I only saw like 3 episodes, so I don't know if it's good or not, but I hear it's pretty solid for an American cartoon.
