Did someone here read some of Lovecraft's novels?
If you did, what was your favorite?

The Case of Charles Dexter Ward is very good I think. It's my favorite
The Shadow over Innsmouth is also a great one...well they're all great! ^^

If you didn't and you like good stories and horror ones, read them!

They are horror fiction novel. The autor is so brillant that some of the readers searched for the cities he was talking about and the wicked Necromicon book. He gives a new perception of the world in is kind, but it stays fiction.

lmfao. Yeah isn't exactly normal teenage reading but its interesting the guy who wrote this was suspected by his king to revolt against him soon so he supposedly did the following to him, physically castrated him, killed his wife (who was also the kings daughter), and made him eat his own baby after they cooked it. Needless to say its quite fucked up. Oh and just incase this is sounding completely out of context to you. You do know Lovecraft published the Necronomicon right ? It's probably not him that made that fake necronomicon
Lovecraft wouldn't do such a thing. Well if he did i'm surprised. It looks to weird to be true. Although he is an autor of fiction, there are many legend about this curious man. Like the one that said that he always dreamed about is novels before writing them.

Well actually the Necronomicon was largely considered a legend until it turned up in Greece a bit ago (using this term loosely). From examinations it looks like a direct translation of the original Arabic version. Lovecraft actually did do it http://www.mystae.com/restricted/str...ronomicon.html here is a link talking about it, I don't think its real as in summoning demons or anything of the sort but I do find it interesting. The Necronomicon also never really had anything to do with bringing the actual dead back to life its more of a creepy mythology, there are several rituals in it but I have yet to try them if i ever do.

I knew there was many books of Necronomicon, but not one by Lovecraft himself.
