The Time Traveller's Wife: A lovely film, the ending moved me to tears, along with the rest of the cinema audience. I'm a big fan of Eric Bana anyway and I thought he was excellent in this film (very good actor, very good looking!). I rarely watch romantic films and the ones I have seen I hated, so this is a first for me and there was never a point when I lost interest. The only bad thing is that Rachel McAdam's voice grated on me at some points when it was really girly (plus, I would loved to have been in her shoes!). This is the first film to make me really cry since Grave of the Fireflies - 9/10
District 9: There isn't much I can say about this because I really do not want to reveal any of the plotline... this film is brilliant! It almost rivals Star Trek for my favourite this year, but not quite. All I can say is that it is a very unique way of making a film and it was nice to see an aliens on Earth film which didn't involve valiant, heroic humans destroying the evil aliens, but rather the opposite. And to be honest, if aliens really did come to Earth, we probably would treat them like that, sadly. - 10/10

District 9- Brilliant film, is all I can say. The camera thing was a little shaky at first but then when the real thing started, it was a smooth and a sweet ride. I did not expect this one to be that good, at first but then thank God I was proven wrong. Peter Jackson at his finest. He picked up things after the crap he pulled off in King Kong.
Land of the Lost- The only reason I downloaded this piece of crap is because of Will Ferrell. Always loved his movies. But this one was a smear on his fame. Couldn't go on after like 25 minutes in. Yes, it has some good jokes but the lack of plot and the shear stupidity made this as the absolutely the worst comedy (if you call that) of 2009. I'm going to delete this shit from my HD right now.

I had some free time, so I used it to watch some movies I never watched before: Hellbinders, Amadeus, Broken Path and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. And they were all pretty good.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine
The movie was pretty nice, I just think that in the scene where Logan was in the farmer's bathroom, his claws looked pretty fake. I think they could have used an actual solid material instead of a CG.

Up (2009):
A brilliant animated film. With a beautiful story, lovable characters, humor and little touch of 'love', this is one of the great animated films of our time. In fact, I can say it is the best film of 2009, animated or not. I would recommend this to everyone, regardless of their age. 10/10, with no pun intended.
Surrogates (2009):
Okay movie. Bruce Willis did what he could but could not touch that level of acting he pulled off in Die Hard movies etc.The most notable reason for that may be because of the average or even blow-average story line of the movie. Heard it was based on the graphic novel but not up to the par with the other graphic novel adaptations. 6/10
Paranormal Activity (2009):
A good horror movie. Made as realistic as possible (similar to Blair Witch movies and REC) but much more believable. The actors did a wonderful job. I was amazed at their acting because in movies like these, its diffcult for the actors to make it believable. Honsetly, i searched in Wiki about that movie to understand that it was just a movie, not a real-time thing. Been a long time since I saw a good horror movie. An easy 8/10.
Zombieland (2009):
Average at best. And thats because of Woodie Wilson. Zombie flick with humor. From start to middle, it will be fun but after that, it will just drag on. They added a mini love story there which was too goddamn cheesy and cliche'd. Chick saved by nerd, nerd gets hooked. I would give it 5/10.

I think most Pixar movies end up being the best film of whatever year they were released. It's insulting that none have won Best Picture. Oscars suck.
